I'm not sure how to begin this. I'm giving this a shot to see where it might lead. Life is an adventure, right?
I've recently relocated to Atlanta and Im looking to get back into the dating scene. I'm not a huge fan of clubs or bars so it limits my ability to meet people.
I'm gainfully employed and I have the ability to work when I want and play when I want. You can normally find me spending my spare time jumping out of planes, scuba diving, rock climbing, skiing, and surfing when the weather permits. When I'm in a lazy mood I'm a big fan of good literature, a fire in the fireplace, being a run-of-the-mill couch potato, and any type of music you can think of. Concerts, art galleries, and good Italian and Thai resteraunts are also a huge weakness of mine. I've been told I can cook but I've never been offered a head chef position. But, most importantly, I am a huge advocate of getting out and experiencing new cultures and countries. Broadening one's horizons is not only the most satisfying experience, it should be a social requirement.

First dates are a tough one.... Ultimately, I'd like to WOW a date.
Even though this kinda tips my hand, this is what I would do...
Phase one would be a chance to get to know each other on a topical basis. You know, likes, dislikes... things like that. All of this would have to happen with something spectacular going on in the foreground... Like a balloon ride over Piedmont Park with a good bottle of wine...Now, behind the scenes, I would have mapped out several evenings in advance... Italian food, Mexican, a play downtown, a baseball game at the stadium, nothing but desserts at the greatest resteraunt in town, the new art exhibit, or the nearest biker bar with level pool tables....whatever she was into.... and take it from there. That way, even if the chemistry lacked (which can happen) at least the entertainment was worth it.
