I write poetry, songs, short stories, parodies and have one poetry book published. I want to be a successful writer and hope I write something that will touch someones heart and mind. I am easy going, the glass is always half full kind of guy. I am respectful of other people and their ideas. I enjoy fishing, board and card games and chatting with new people. I like most music except gangsta rap. I am currently separated and going thru mediation for my divorce.

Old Cape Cod

Walking hand in hand in the moonlight
Along a beach of warm sifting sand
Waves rolling softly through our footsteps
A night for lovers to make their plans

The soft glow of the shimmering moonlight
Ripling on the water as the waves roll by
Brings an atmosphere of pure enchantment
A night meant for just you and I

Lost in our thoughts we're together
Strolling slowly as time drifts on by
Savouring the spell of the evening
With the hope that love inspires

Rapture, enchantment, the wonder of you
Makes a night I'll always remember
From the weekend I spent here with you
In the bay of Old Cape Cod




New Horizons


without touches
or sly glances
just your words
have drawn me in

soft caresses
sighs unfolding
lovers passion
on the rise

never knowing
contemplating
what will lead
us to our fate

but in knowing
out there somewhere
someone has the
key to my heart

please unlock it
very gently
hold it closely
never part

feel it beating
calling gently
two hearts
becoming one

without ever
really meeting
on this trail
we have begun

let us go now

new horizons
to the sun
