One of my biggest interests is music, especially live music, but I don't get to shows as often as I would like to. I am proud to say that I have seen half of the Beatles live, although not necessarily my favorite half. I tend to listen to the music my parents raised me on, a lot of Motown and plain rock and roll, after a short-lived headbanger stage in the late eighties.
I love animals; I have 3 cats (which I found out is probably one cat too many, but they crack me up daily) and 1 dog, a Sheltie. I don't intend to become the "crazy cat lady", though. Other interests of mine include reading, movies, laughing, traveling, singing (off-key, usually), and making jewelry. A nice afternoon nap on a gloomy February day is fun, too.
I like children (surprise, surprise, but there are many teachers that don't), so I suppose I am looking for somebody that feels the same way.
I would describe myself as honest, open-minded, sensitive, fairly intelligent, and a good friend. I can spell well and my grammar isn't bad, either! I try to make people laugh as often as I can. I am not afraid to voice my opinions or let people know how I feel. I won't back down from an argument, but I won't start one either. I try to keep the peace.
Hmmm...I am not a huge sports fan; I like to swim and play tennis, but unfortunately don't do either very well...at all. Winter sports like ice-skating and skiing are more in my line. I do enjoy a good baseball, rugby, or hockey game, though. However, I DO love camping and being outdoors, especially during the fall.
I would like to meet someone who likes to laugh and doesn't mind the occasional cat hair on the couch or Ringo Starr album played loudly. A great partner or friend would be a music-lover and a kid-liker, somebody who likes to laze around with a cup of coffee and chat occasionally (or frequently), and/or a person to walk the dog with, see a show with, or just contemplate the evening sky with (that's a lot of "withs").

Catch a local show, go to a movie, take a walk, get some coffee and/or a meal.
