About me, well, I dont believe im as old as I am for starters, when in the world did that happen? I am surrounded by great friends, family, a wonderful dog and cat.
I have recently moved back to the NOVA area after being gone for 15 years - so much has changed, but, so much has stayed the same.
I enjoy a glass of wine with a nice dinner, but, on the flip side, find me in a dive bar watching my RAVENS attempt to kick some butt with a fine chilled bottle of Michelob Ultra is just as appealing!
I make a living, my own living, working, and doing the best I can fixing things in my home - yes, I know how to work a hammer - however, I have found that most of the tasks have been much easier in theory than they really are!

I dont have children, and Im not one to be pulled into a ready made family, Ive had my share of stepchildren, and no one has perfect children - NO ONE. If you have children, and can appreciate that, thats fantastic. I can not bear to listen to how terrible the children's mother is - for one reason or another. Im not a shrink, or an attorney, so I really dont feel I should be privy to any of the ex dynamics.

I LOVE to laugh, be goofy, and share silly little secrets with one person in a packed room. I love to be looked at and know Im the only one in that persons eyes.
I am pretty ok alone, but, there is nothing quite as comforting in life knowing I have someone to be there for me, a phone call away, or waiting for me with open arms when I get there. Nothing soothes a bad day, or compliments the great times, more than a hug from someone you care about, one that you can just melt into, and feel like you never want to let go.

I am a great cook, however, I may have gotten a little out of practice. Ill need to find a guinea pig to help me figure out if I still have what it takes! Currently, if I cant microwave it, it just doesnt happen - after all, what fun is it to slave over a stove just for one?

I love to discover new places, be it a hot little restaurant, or a cool hiking trail. Since Ive been back, I havent done too much, so, would love to find someone to help me see the sights of this grand area!

I do smoke, and I know to some that is a hinderance, which I truly respect, and I will not smoke around those who are non smokers (just how do you do that?) HOWEVER, if you do not smoke, please dont think that you can con me into going out on a completely non smoking evening - that just isnt fair, I wouldnt ask you to stop breathing for hours at a time! :-) An occasional moment to step out should not be viewed as an opportunity to tell me how much better off I would be if I quit - I believe I already know the benefits!

If you are married, separated, looking to just "chat", or a one night stand, thanks for stopping, but, I think your time here is done. Have a fistful of lies or drama? Good luck to ya, nothing here for you.
