Hi...well where do we start with this? I'm here because I'd like to meet someone special...someone that can be part of my life and visa versa. All good relationships start off with a friendship...sometimes though that chemistry is right there from the start. It's a cool thing. Something that I miss.

Life presents challenges and I've had my share over the past 5-6 years but its made me a better person. Its made me more resilient and its enhanced my faith. Yes, I am a Christian, a person of faith. I've gotten some flak here lately because I've listed that on my profile. Incredible~ That doesn't mean that I'm not capable of much mirth and silliness. I am! At the same time...I'm a person that puts alot of value in morals and integrity. Hmmm...mirth and silliness; morals and integrity...who is this guy???

I have a very easy going disposition and possess an ability to make people smile. I've been told I've got a good sense of humor. That's important right???
I have an uncanny ability to ummm...gosh I'm not coming up with any uncanny abilities at this moment in time....so let me work on that! :-) All kidding aside, I'm a strong person, I don't look for the easy way out of things...I believe in "being there" for friends, family and being committed to help others who need help. I'm not a controlling person...I have a good heart. I'm also a gentleman...I open doors and can hold my own in planning a special date. :-)

What else? I think quite often the simple things in life are among the best. A walk along a marina with a really nice breeze is one of them. Sunsets where the sky is purple and blue and colors you didn't even know existed is right up there too! I like road trips, small towns, places with rivers, diners, art festivals and galleries...and real people. I love music, film (Enzian is a cool place), documentaries, etc. U2 and REM are among my favorite musical artists along with several other lesser known bands. I guess all in all...whether its music, a film or a book...I just like experiencing things that make you feel some kind of emotion inside. Yeah...I know I'm deep...lol Ohhh...and I like watching Top Chef and Flipping out on Bravo...I find reality tv strangely fascinating. So much for being deep! (grinning)

Hmmm, a first date. Hopefully have fun...and laugh. A first date should be pretty casual, no pressure or expectations. Just two people getting together and seeing if there's some chemistry and magic there.
