I am fun, optimistic, and down-to-earth. Some of my interests are cooking, gardening, listening to NPR, politics, personal growth, good wine and conversation. I like all things outdoorsy; Kahlil Gibran wrote, "... and forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair" and I'd say that fits me pretty well. I try to enjoy what is beautiful and am grateful for what I have. I have my own business cooking for others, and enjoy my work immensely. I have 3 beautiful kids and a full life that I enjoy (I'm not looking for someone to "rescue" me), and thought it would be nice to get out more. I'm very busy and don't have a whole lot of extra time, so I'll see how this works. I am comfortable in jeans, but I prefer dresses. It says I should list my taste in music, so I'll try. I really like Dave Matthews, Coldplay, Indigo Girls, Ella Fitzgerald, The Andrews Sisters, 90's grunge, 80's dance, old jazz, WWII music, and just about everything except country, R&B, and rap.

Well, I've realized it's hard to talk and eat at the same time, so full-on dinner is probably not the best plan. I'd love to meet at some little bistro in the afternoon for a glass of wine, or take a walk along venice beach or some other place with good scenery.
