About Me
I am well past my divorce, my children are on their own, and I am seeking a serious relationship with someone who is also ready for that type of togetherness. I know there are no perfect people, rather hope to find someone who is perfectly imperfect. Most importantly, I hope to find a man who would like to build a life together that is very special and fulfilling for both of us. I want to spoil someone but would like the same in return. I'm straight forward and honest and am looking for somene who is the same.
My dream is to find that person who is mostly positive about life and dwells on what is good. But we would be there for each other during the tough times as well. I am looking for someone who has me at hello, but will more importantly keep me there. I love good conversation and want to find that someone that I can communicate with on all levels--conversationally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically.
I'm very active and would like to share a life with someone who just loves to find interesting ways to spend our time--whether it's traveling, snuggling, or a picnic on a starry, moonless night. I would love to travel to places both near and further away.
A favorite saying of mine is--life is a mystery to be lived, not a problem to be solved. I'd like to live the mystery with a wonderful person!
First Date
For a first "meeting", I prefer a public place. It might be a coffee shop, a restaurant, a zoo, or some other place. The first meeting is a chance to see one another face-to-face, talk, and have a good time. Yet, it is brief enough to give each person an easy chance after an hour or so to leave politely.
The first "date" to me is the second time together--two people who feel a connection and know they want to spend more time together. It could be playing golf, going to a play, an art show, or the show. It could be anywhere--the important thing is that we are together laughing, smiling, and holding hands. A picnic in a park could be very fun. Sky's the limit! My favorite date at any point in a relationship after that--well, it could be many things. However, in my mind I can picture a moonless night, out in the country where the stars seem to stretch to the ground everywhere we would look. We would have music from the car and dance while we watched shooting stars across the sky.
