It's hard sometimes to write these things...you want to sound intriguing and interesting, but not fake or hokey...and even though I like to think I'm articulate and have a way with words, I wonder if you'll get a true picture of me just by reading a few paragraphs... That being said...here goes...I've been divorced for 14+ years, am the mom of two young men that drove me crazy when they were younger...okay, so sometimes they still do...lol...for the most part, though, they turned out to be great kids and I love them both dearly, warts and all. :) I'm "Grammy" to a little boy who is the cutest little guy on the face of the planet.

Besides my family, important things in my life are my faith, my friends, and music. I sing in the choir at my church and am trying (trying) to write some of my own music. I also like football, movies, football, theatre, football, shopping (I'm a girl, it's a given), football, traveling...and oh...did I mention I like football? :) Can't help it...when you are born and bred and reared in Nebraska, it's in your genetic makeup. I don't pout or get mad when they lose, (how boring would it be if they won every single game??) but I will forego housework to watch a Nebraska game on television. You'll also find me watching the NFL on Sundays.

I love to laugh and have what could be considered an irreverant (okay, warped) sense of humor and yes, I occasionally laugh at the most inappropriate times...sometimes you just have to!

As far as work goes, I'm gainfully employed..have been with the same company for 30 years...and in Kansas for 12 of those 30 years. I love my job...and am right where I want to be for the rest of my career.

I think I'm reasonably attractive, however please be advised that I'm a big girl, so if size bothers you, well....please don't bother me. I'm always trying to whittle my weight down...so maybe one of these days I can take that sentence out. :) I love to touch and to be affectionate. It's amazing to me how right the world can be when you have a hand to hold while you face it. I've had my heart broken (haven't we all) and my last relationship ended about a year ago...I think I'm ready to take a chance on love again.

First dates are scary...so much pressure! Let's just meet for coffee or a drink or something...see if the chemistry we think we have is truly present...and go from there.
