I have been separated for many years, so I consider myself to be single!

I am not your typical 'older' lady and don't ever intend to be!! I may come across as subdued on my photos...but, please...do NOT let that confuse you...I am a pretty lively little one....Or...if you like subdued...Well, I can be that for you too...if that is what you want?

My life is full, and I am very happy to live on my own...I am not looking for 24/7 or to be joined at the hip with anyone....I would simply like to enjoy a significant other when our individual schedules permit.

I am an artist and presently have three projects underway...a large abstract painting, a portrait and designing/making Christmas cards for friends and family...

I am very creative in all areas of my life...

---------However, I do not expect the same in the person that I am with, for I know that opposites attract..As long as you totally adore and worship me for what I do and for who I am...Well that will make me very happy...(Please realize that the last sentence was meant to be funny...well..only sort of.) ....I am somewhat of a high maintenance little lass..I will admit,,,However...the level of high maintenance is truly up to the right guy...And I promise...I am worth every minute of your time!! (Just for Goodness Sakes...Do not fall in love with me!)

Well..if you haven't noticed by now, I am a bit of a flirt...But once you have this country singing cowgirl corralled...I am yours and only yours!!!


I am a singer and accompany myself on guitar..I have been an entertainer for most of my life...It is a huge part of who I am...and... I am always looking for someone that can sing harmony...Such fun!

I read good novels..(no fluff,) haunt thrift shops and garage sales, flea markets looking for treasures, go for long walks for health and for fun..

I love to go on picnics, even in the winter...to barbecues, to dances,--two-step, waltz and foxtrot mainly, but would love to learn how to jive really well--any teachers out there?

Red is my favorite wine enjoyed by candlight and soft music...Natchos and beer I have a huge weakness for..prefer savory foods over sweets.

Yellow is my favorite color..What is yours??

I'm a bit of a homebody, and you? Do you like the occasional cooking feast?..Do you enjoy exchanging forkfulls of exotic yummies??

I dress mostly in jeans and a tee..but I do love to dress up if the occasion calls for it..

My favorite singers and musicians are: Don Williams, Patsy Cline, Anne Murray, Elvis, Jerry Lee, Marty Robins..and I would not be female without mentioning...Oh So Sexy Mr..L. Cohen,,

... and last but definitely not least, my awesome brother and son-in-law whose names I won't mention here....
There are, of course many other singers/musicians that I enjoy and appreciate as well.

However...I do favor country music, (the old songs,) but can appreciate most other types of music...

Animals...oh yes.....especially cats.... and then dogs.
I once dated a fellow who had a ten foot boa constrictor and I grew to love that snake..
(I'm referring to the reptile of course.)

I've had pet rats...(lovely little critters,) dogs, guinea pigs, hamsters, a hedgehog..and cats...

However, now the only living things in my home, (other than myself, of course,)are plants, as the building in which I live does not allow pets...not even a fish, if you please!

I'm very affectionate, and like to show my affection..(even in public, but discreetly.)

I can be a little silly at times, a bit of a tease..but it's all in fun, ... because life is to be enjoyed, right??

What kind of humor do you like? ..I love a dry sense of humor..Cracks me up every time!

I'm a fairly decent cook, but to be honest, I'd rather have someone cook for me. Now baking is another thing altogether..I make a mean lemon meringue pie!

I'm a good listener, so if you want to bounce ideas off of me...no problem...

I chose the category for my weight as thin...Well...that sounds like I'm skinny...I like the term slim better... I am 110 lbs..and I feel the healthiest at this weight for my 5' 1/2" frame.

ok..here we go...First Meeting, (not date)..Why not do the same as most everyone else on this site, and meet for a cuppa coffee?

Well, now, (and this is just a suggestion,...) as for the first date..How would it be if I packed us up a picnic lunch, and we go somewhere with a nice view, eat in the car and then go for a walk,(dressed warmly, of course.) Perhaps by the end of our walk we may have discussed meeting for a second date...Who knows, right?
