Let's see, who am I? I’m someone who likes getting to know all types of people, seeing the world, experiencing new things, & always learning. I’m definitely a warm weather person & love things like: camping (I always look forward to my annual beach camping trip to Assateague), hiking, biking (really need to get my bike fixed), anything in or near water, golf (not very good, but I have fun), cookouts with friends, outdoor concerts & festivals, sitting in the sun with a good book, wine tastings (love the VA Wine Festival!), museums, and theatre (not that I've been to much, but I do enjoy going to shows). Favorite types of music include jazz, blues, reggae, soul, hip-hop, classic rock, oldies...really, I'm very open & love most types. The only thing I haven't been able to get into is country.

I do like to travel and would love to get to Greece and back to Italy...it seems though, that since moving here my travel budget has been used up going home to see family in Chicago & Colorado. I'm working on remedying that:)

Who am I looking for? I like people who are open-minded, caring, active, educated, liberal...who enjoy having some wine and discussing the meaning of life, spending a weekend doing movie marathons, camping, hiking, or hopping in the car for a spontaneous trip up the coast. And just in case my soulmate is out there - he would be all of the above, plus passionate, sensual, self-confident, honest. He would be someone with similar beliefs and values, and similar interests (although not all the same - learning from each other is part of the fun!). Someone who loves kids and gives great massages...someone who enjoys conversation, but can also be silly and enjoy the simple pleasures in life...a best friend to share the ups and downs of life with...to grow with.

When meeting through online dating, I think the first date should just be a casual drink/coffee...maybe go for a walk if it's a nice day...basically just something where we can meet and talk a bit to see if there's physical chemistry, ease in conversation, and the ability to laugh together.
