I am a divorced mother of two wonderful children, who mean the world to me. I have a wonderful family. I am a nurse and I love what I do--I want to finish my BSN within the next year...hopefully!! I love the outdoors--camping, fishing, kayaking--anything that involves water. I love going to any beach. I am 5'11--I don't have a problem with dating shorter men but if you do then I'm not the one for you. I think it's sexy to see a tall woman with a shorter man...lol. My taste in music varies from day to day. I love it all, however I don't go a day without listening to some kind of rock. I'm just an average, single parent who is looking for something....maybe a fairy tale...I'm not sure, we'll just have to play this story out and see what happens.
~~A little more about me: I like to garden, do some fix-up projects around the house ( I do know how to use a drill and do some minor repairs~lol); I love to read, I'm finding my selections of books more and more unique; I love seeing the world through my childrens eyes~~such a different view than what mine is; I try to discover something new about myself daily; I love the fall of the year~~the leaves crunching under your feet as your walk, the smell, the crisp coolness of the air~~love it!
~*~*~This is very important!! Just because you talk to someone a few times via e-mail and then a few times on the phone does not mean that there is an instant connection and the first date is going to end up in a bed some place or that love is in the picture...I'm not saying that there is not the possibility of those things happening and I do believe in love at first site and sometimes you just know you are meant to be with that someone BUT please, please don't push it on anyone who is saying "Whoa...you need to slow down a little...you are going way to fast for me". It only makes that person want to run like the wind away from you.....just a bit of advice ;))

Dinner, movies, bars--all so basic. I would prefer a picnic, just sitting and talking and see what happens. I just so happen to know some wonderful places to go go :-)
