A friend told me I needed to rewrite my profile. And they say thats what friends are for!! She said I needed to lighten it up. So I got to thinking how do I describe me in 2000 characters or less and to be honest---dam it's hard! I mean this is where I am supposed to tell you what a great guy I am right? I havent that big an ego! How about how others describe me instead. My son told me there is two types of people in the world and I am not one of them. My foster daughter once told me---I am not really your daughter----that's why I am normal. A former coworker and mentor told me once there where three types of asses he didn't like---a smart ass---a dumb ass---and my ass. A kid at work calls me pops! If I could understand my parakeets I would tell you what they thought of me--lol

If I had to describe myself I would say I am a laid back down to earth open minded and outspoken liberal with a sense of old fashioned values--if that makes sense! I am a simple---casual person---the jeans and shirt type. I am a bit of a smart ass:) If you want to have a deep conversation I can do that---you want to match wits--I think I could handle that as well. I have always had a great love of children and animals----far easier to train the animals! I am a content person who rearely ever has a bad day. I like to make people smile or laugh. I am looking for someone who is somewhat like myself but not completely, a woman who doesnt need a man to feel like a whole person--someone who can talk and listen and is not afraid to speak her mind--is honest and faithful, has a sense of humor--someone to explore all the possibilities in life with. Ideal match? I don't think you can describe that really. Besides, by trying to limit by definition who you seek only seems to me to set you up for failure. You see, every day of our lives we pass by hundreds without notice, without a smile, without a simple hi. Yes I am guilty of this myself. Yet by doing so we may be passing up the greatest gift of all. One far greater than any wrapped in fancy paper with frilly ribbons and colorful bows---that being the gift of friendship. We do this because we all have our own little wall built up. Yet if we remove just one brick from our wall and allow another to peek in and get a glimpse of the person we call ourself then maybe in return they will remove a brick for us. God willing more bricks will fall and mortar will drop to pave a wonderful road to friendship. With that I simply say hi!!
