I'm a 29 year old single guy.

Well, that's about it.

I guess I should say more than this, so here it goes. I work as a web developer, read way too many books and have recently decided to go back to school. I figure it can't be a bad thing to actually have some papers to show for my skills. I enjoy photography, design, cooking, the outdoors and like to think of myself as being well read and well spoken. I take pleasure in correcting bad grammar and spelling but I also welcome it in return. No one speaks perfect English, but I try.

Ideally I'm looking for friends with the possibility of it going further than that. I can't bring myself to simply say that I'm looking for a relationship because that relies on way too many factors for me to list. I like to take things one step at a time and being friends first and foremost is a good starting point.

Music is an important part of every day life to me. It always provides some sort of backdrop. I'm not really into specific genres because my taste in music is quite eclectic. Here's a list of some of my favourites: Portishead, Massive Attack, Faith No More, Talking Heads, Bell X1, Keane, Damien Rice, Duran Duran, Depeche Mode, Tricky, Alkaline Trio, Beck, Hawksley Workman, Glassjaw, Neutral Milk Hotel, Jane's Addiction, Interpol, Nine Inch Nails, R.E.M., Placebo, Refused, She Wants Revenge, Sigur Ros, Snow Patrol, Stars, The Get Up Kids, Mars Volta and so on.

I'm not what you'd typically call a "gamer" as I'd much rather be at one with nature with my camera slung around my neck but I have a soft spot for a few things: my Nintendo Wii and the Rockband series of games. If you're also a lover of these games I say bring it on, I'll put on a clinic and display my Harry Potter-like wizardry of the plastic guitar.

I'm also in the process of being able to tack the following job title to the end of my name: Coder of Doom by Day/Camera Wielding Crime Fighter by Night.

Anything that doesn't take away from the fact that at some point, it's important to me to be able to sit down and you know... talk. If I can't talk to you as normal people do, I can't do anything else with you.
