I believe a relationship must have: Commitment, Communication and Conflict resolution. With the greatest of these being Commitment.

I am hard working, aggressive, play hard, humorous, loving-caring, Christ-like; leads a healthy lifestyle and desires to continue that importance, hates MSG, Aspertame and High Fructose Corn Syrup yet I am weak to chocolate chip cookies and ice cream at times! I enjoy baseball, softball and have a passion for bowhunting (2) weeks in November; if you hate the fact that I enjoy November in the woods..you will not like me; there is nearly 11.5 months of the rest of the year when I can devote my time to you...sounds harsh maybe but lets start to lay out the expectations...yet I am flexible if the priorities call for it...otherwise your too selfish if you cannot allow some space. In turn, I will allow you space as well if that is your wish. Overall, I will want to spend nearly every day of my life near you yet I am open in allowing you space as well.

I will not tolerate smoking, in fact I cannot take it. Pets are fun: dogs and horses are my favorite but I've never owned a horse as of yet; I've enjoyed riding in Montana. In search of a professional, understanding, caring, loving lady who isn’t afraid of commitment and who wears a smile as much as practical. I love affection, holding a ladies hand in public and opening the doors for her is my joy.

I will guarantee you one thing, I will do my best to love your loved ones and get along with them. Being good to each other and helping each other is making love in my mind. If you want to laugh hard, watch me make an apple pie (both crusts from scratch top/bottom); you would notice flower all over the kitchen and me in frustration. However, there cannot be a better pumpkin pie made than mine, maybe as good but no better..and I know how to make homemade whip cream (I don't use the store container junk).

Although you may gather that I wear my heart on my sleeve there are times I wear it under my armpit.

Now for a long version:
If we ever enter into a relationship, don't be surprised if I stop the vehicle somewhere at random but out of harms way, go around the vehicle lean in the window and give you a kiss just to see you smile...I love to kiss and hope I don't always have to steal my kisses from you. Be aware because I may also go out on the center line of the road and skid a few moon walks-yelling over to you "the way you make -a- me feel, you really turn me on, you knock me off-a-my feet now baby, my lonely days are GONE" then a ankle click in mid-air...pause...I have passion. I have strengths and weaknesses like anyone else. It is my belief that the gal that chooses to love me will be amazed at my strengths and she will be patient as I work on overcoming any weaknesses. I enjoy life and I have been very blessed to work in an enjoyable career. I have moved about 5 times in my life building on that career (a country boy who works out of 16 story sky scraper) but I have much to be thankful for. I try to keep life simple. I believe that Christ gave us an example of how to live; don't let that scare you..that simply means you get the best kind of love from me..selflessness/sacrificial...yes the purest kind. I look forward to the day when I can give selfless love to a fine lady. I am soft spoken, laid back and genuine.

I look for the best in people (and I need to be reminded of that while driving sometimes!) but don't run too far with accusing me of being gullible. If you want me to become pissed off just treat me like dirt, take advantage of me and practice an unforgiving spirit, gossip relationship troubles-challenges unnecessarily or issues with your family and keep going on and on about an issue that has been already resolved. I work hard and approach life fairly aggressively in work or play and will fight for what is right. I may not be the most vocal at a meeting as I like to wait, evaluate and offer my input near the end and hit the points that need to be said.
I like a variety of music. I love to work out, 3-4 days of the week. I work very hard and yet in my thirties I am learning to balance that with a sense of humor. I say work hard but I am not at all opposed at stopping and taking leave to spend time with a lady just to make her feel proud and special.

Hoping for a long-term deal and somone who is willing to put forth an effort to nourish a relationship…I believe it takes 7-10 years to establish compatibility in a MARITAL relationship; that is if a couple decides to work at it! So one may think they are compatible, up front, but just wait the tests will come in time...therefore I want someone who is willing to strive onward, be able to deal with issues together with their partner and love each other passionately, to me sex is important but in my mind making love means doing good deeds to/for each other, helping each other, being good to each other family's, sharing time and activities together in quality time...though sex is important---please understand I am not here for a romp in the hay for one night. If I go before my wife does, I want her to stand over my casket and say that man loved me like no other man could, he was my helper, he helped me more than I could ever say so.

Some of the things I enjoy: the outdoors,camping, the beach or forest. Softball is still helping me to stay in shape. Festivals, flea markets, card games (phase 10 until the sun arises with friends), mountain bike riding, hiking, zoo's, fishing/hunting (deer), outdoor photography, Reinassance fairs, going to a baseball game, etc., cooking, tennis, steam engine trains, Busch Gardens and shopping at the Williamsburg, VA outlets, beauty of visiting Maine, Montana and Kansas...want to travel to England, New Zealand and Rome. My all time favorite movies include Lord of the Rings, Gladiator and 7 brides for 7 brothers.

Being available to help others is something I think we are all on earth for...whether its giving them a quarter to park along the street or cheering them on so they feel good about them self. I want to meet a gal that has already found happiness and has a sound mind; I want to add to her happiness and show her how much a man can love the correct way. On a first date, I could go to great lengths to plan something. Yet, I can be satisfied with something simple. Just as long as we have time to talk to each other, relax and most importantly that the gal is very comfortable. Again, I try to keep life simple and that is enough of a challenge right there. What could be better in a date then to enjoy the company of someone who makes you feel comfortable.
