I'm not the best at describing myself, but I'll give it a shot. People who know me best would describe me as smart, funny, sometimes a smart ass, charming (still haven't figured out if that's a compliment or not!), and über laid-back. I'm a classical musician by trade, but when I'm "off-duty" my tastes are pretty eclectic. I enjoy everything from classical to jazz to alternative (rather, what *used* to be alternative, back in the day) to top-40.

In a nutshell, I think I'm a pretty nice guy. I work hard, play hard, and love hard. I'd love to find my true love one of these days soon and begin my happily ever after. However, I know that these things take time and I'm in no hurry to rush into anything.

My idea of the perfect first date would be contingent upon the person with whom I would be sharing said date! However, some ideas: Meeting for coffee and chat, possibly leading to dinner if we both wanted to continue the date; Meeting at a park (dog park with both of our furry children would be a fun one!); Basically, anything that would give us an opportunity to actually talk and get to know one another a little bit.
