I am basically down to earth, not your Barbie type. I am happy with who I am, love my kids, dogs, and the world that surrounds me. I am outgoing, creative, artistic, self sufficient, I can even fix a plumbing leak. I have been in north Idaho for just over 3 years now. Although Priest River is a friendly and small town it is almost impossible to meet other singles here I am finding out, especially since I do not hang out or do the bar scene and have had no luck at the local grocery store.

What AM I looking for? Someone who is warm, sincere, has a great sense of humor, and someone who compliments my life and adds to it. Life is so much nicer when it is shared with that special person. I believe in being friends first. You can't put the cart before the horse. That means that I would like to take time to get to know you, laugh with each other, cry together, if the need arises, share lifes ups and downs, because honestly, it takes time for real feelings to grow and materialize.

As far as my likes go? I am pretty open and diverse. I like weekend trips, wine tasting, car shows, car races, outdoor concerts, flea markets, barbecues, rivers, lakes, streams, mountains, waterfalls, bike rallies, picnics, a good movie with buttered popcorn, warm places in the winter, cool places in the summer, huskies, and most 4 legged animals... well, there isn't much that I don't like if I am sharing the moment with good company, friends, or family.

For a first meeting, something casual for starters. Meet for a cup of coffee, ice tea, a drink, in a public place. Now a first date? A trip to the flea market or local Farmer's Market, (weather permitting,) then lunch at one of the small local places. Mexican food is my favorite and you can't beat a Margarita on a hot summer afternoon. Or.... Lunch at the Marina? Dinner overlooking the lake???? Just a few ideas, but whatever we decide on, I am sure will be wonderful. ;-)
