Well, I've landed back in Stockton after a brief attempt to get FAR away...this place is just like a giant magnet to me. I've had the opportunity to see if the grass really is greener, and I've decided that for now, I'm fairly content here. My biggest gripe would be that I have such a difficult time meeting attractive, professional, educated, and independent women. Here's to being optimistic that this site can help me find what I'm looking for...

Anyway, more about me...I was born and raised in the area, and besides getting away for college and some overseas living experiences, I've called Stockton my home for most of my life. I have an incredible career teaching, and I truly love getting up each day to go to "work." I recently finished up grad school in the hopes of moving into school administration someday, but for now am happy in the classroom. In my spare time, I love to travel (going to Costa Rica in a couple of months!), catch-up with friends and family (near and far), keep fit through running, tennis, or trips to the gym, and of course, I'm somewhat of a foodie. I enjoy doing pretty much anything, and am always looking to branch out a little more and that's where someone new comes into play.

I've been on my own for quite some time now, and have pretty much gotten used to my quiet little existence. However, I'm always interested in meeting new people who can complement my personality, and vice-versa. I consider myself an independent, ambitious, caring, and fun-loving person, and I'm really just looking for some of the same qualities in another person who I can get to know and become closer to over time.
