Hmmmmmm, where do I start?? ......Okay, here I go! When you meet me, you will probably notice that I'm from the west coast and possibly CA, but maybe not that I'm a native Los Angelena! You may detect northern European heritage, but maybe not Scandinavian roots or more specifically, being Swedish! Here in LA, there is a large Swedish community, and I grew up immersed in it! This cultural connection has definitely been a big part of my LA experience! It's not so surprising that I found a career that highlights multi-cultural LA and linguistics!

I have cultivated a passion for languages learning Swedish at home and studying French and Spanish in school. I enjoy conversing with people from different parts of the world to learn about their region / culture more intimately. Having family in Europe, traveling has always been a big part of my life. Some of the places I've really enjoyed are Sweden (sjalv klart!), France, Spain, Mexico and Belize.

I love to be active in my mind and body. Reading, crossword puzzles, and engaging conversations keeps my mind busy, and yoga, pilates, sailing, swimming, spinning, snowboarding, hiking are just a few activities that keep my body coming back for more! What do you do for your mind? body? I'll introduce you to some of mine if you'll introduce me to some of yours!

Being spontaneous and open-minded are important qualities for me. I don't want to miss out on life's surprises!! If it snows in Mammoth, let's get up there and out in the powder asap! If there's a certain charity event, let's attend and support the cause! If there's a live event ( concert / theater), let's get tickets! If the time is right to make a homemade meal, let's get the recipe books out and make a delicious mess!

Who am I looking for? A kind, intelligent, ambitious man with an open heart who makes me laugh!! He is passionate about his profession, but is just as passionate about spending quality time with his significant other! He's someone who sees the glass as 1/2 full rather than empty, who understands the meaning of partnership, who is honest, and who is ready to embark upon life's adventures and surprises with me! Please be genuine, comfortable in your own skin, and possessing strong family values.
