Ok, I think it was time I rewrote this thing. I was attracting too many hairy wilderness girls. I like wilderness girls, just not the hairy part.

Rather than tell you about myself and tell you what I'm looking for, I think I'll just write about stuff. If you're smart and clever, you'll figure out what kind of a person I am on your own. Draw your own conclusions. I'll try to write different stuff from time to time. I'm not a professional writer, so you may ask questions if you like.

Is it just me or is more of the music we loved growing up being called oldies? I could have sworn I heard U2 being played on K-Earth 101! What's up with that!!

I sometimes work on a dive boat on weekends (this is quite studdly, by the way), and the other day, as I was pulling the anchor with my bare hands, veins bulging on my arms, sweat running down my neck, I began to reflect on my experiences diving and begin to share them with the other deckhands on the boat.. then I hear, "Is this gonna to be another one of those 'I remember when..' stories?"... the kid is 19 years old.

As I finished schooling the boy and let him out of the chain locker, it occurred to me..."What just happened??" ...they see me as the older guy.

You know, I forget sometimes that I'm 43. In fact I feel more like 33. I don't have that sense that I am older except when that kid reminds me(we call that hazing and it's a male ritual kind of a thing...complicated). I actually feel better and feel more fit than when I was 33. It's interesting how I can keep up with these kids not only physically but surpass them mentally. I feel like I have more "heart." I realized I'm in my prime, AND with wisdom! More experiences to remember and to share.

If you're e-mailing, chatting, or talking on the phone with a guy, but he seems indecisive and doesn't make a move, slow down and take your time. Nothing wrong with being friends first and hanging out. It doesn't mean the guy is weak or unmanly because he doesn't throw himself at you. (Yes he still wants sex and thinks you're hot..) It may just mean his experiences have made him wise and he just wants to get to know you first....oh, and that you aren't in Nigeria on business and then hit him up for money.

By the way, in case you haven't figured it out, the guy I'm talking about is me.

Drinks would be good, or coffee. Maybe an activity so it doesn't feel like we're interviewing each other.
