Ok I’ve never really been good at this thing about who I am and what I want, but I will give it a shot.
I’m 30 and I grew up most of my life in Ft Lauderdale Florida.
I joined the military when I was 21 and I left in 04. I spent over 1 year in the desert on 2 deployments.
I have 1 tattoo but the itch to get a few more including a half sleeve tribal is very strong.
I used to be heavily involved in music in my high school years playing a wide variety of instruments including singing. Now I just try to DJ for my own personal entertainment.
I like all forms of music not extremely fond of country but I do like some. I mostly listen to R&B hip-hop and reggae. I also like bands like Linkin Park and Creed 2 of my favorites.
I don’t have any children but I hope one day to have a couple…or a few? I’m open to negotiation on that.
I am currently fully focused to start and complete a bachelor degree. That is the number one priority, but I t would be nice to have a nice woman (the right one) to spend my time with.
I like live entertainment….a comedy club or a live band even jazz. I don’t have a problem going to big events but I don’t like elbow room only crowds.
I like to eat all kinds of foods….including sushi, Chinese, Mexican and Jamaican (spicy stuff) I like Italian foods also but not really my first choice.
I don’t currently have any pets, but I hope before the end of the year ill have a dog. I like cats too but prefer dogs.
I smoke on occasion, meaning the man kind of thing, a cigar maybe once a year or a black and mild at the party but no cigarettes. If you do its ok, but I don’t want to be a cigarette smoker again I am pleased with having quit and don’t want to go back.
My family is important to me. I’m not a momma’s boy, but she’s important to me.
I was not born in America. I was born in Jamaica and I’m now a citizen.
My hobbies include golf(yes golf). I own and ride a ninja 600. And I play video games if I have a little spare time.
Id like to one day jump from a perfectly good aircraft with a chute, I’ve never been paint-balling (I’m not sure why).
I am a Christian.

So here’s the deal…it seams the more I date these days the harder it is to find someone I have a real connection with.
I’m looking for a woman with good quality character. I’m not interested in a first date one nighter and if I meet that kind of woman I would not be interested in long term with her. I am looking for quality not quantity. It seems people don’t try to get to know each other anymore these days. Id like to get to know someone. Its time for me to find a meaningful relationship.
I hope to meet a woman with a good heart and a kind character. Someone positive uplifting and thoughtful when times are hard and will stand beside her man.
I am a very supportive partner and not the jealous type, not the abusive type or obsessive. I don’t like overly sarcastic people because I never know when they’re joking and I don’t like the guessing game.
I have remained single for a bit so I have no drama with ex’s and I pretty open and ready if the right woman comes along.
Age is not extremely important but the closer to my age the more comfortable I might feel dating. And race is not important.
So if you’re interested in taking your time to get to know someone then I might be your man. I’m very cultured intelligent and if I’m comfortable being myself around you, I can be very funny sometimes goofy.

My idea of a good first date is jet skiing to a local restaurant docking and having lunch.
