Profile say non-religious, but it's more of the agnostic variety. To be sure, there's something out there, but I can't say that any single religion is absolutely right and I have respect for a tolerance of, as long as it's not being shoved in my face or killing me.

My taste in music is mostly alternative rock, but I've been known to appreciate rock, pop, classical, jazz, folk, world and most other incarnations, but with a generally negative skew against rap and country.

A first date should be something simple, casual and somewhat private. No fancy dinner, no bars, no clubs, no movie. A nice quiet lunch or cafe table for two would be perfect. That way you have time to get to know the other person and don't have to be rushed or prodded and analyzed by anyone else.
