I am 5ft 5ins and although I describe myself as having " a few extra pounds", that is being worked on and shortly I will be able to describe myself as average! - whatever average is.

I am a happy, positive and optimistic person. I am very honest and say it like it is. I don't like dramatic or pretentious people and have no tolerance for dishonesty.

I have been described as having a wicked sense of humour and like a good laugh although I have also been described as blunt but hey. I love the outdoors,walking and chatting which is why I need someone to walk and chat with as well as socialising.

I am a bit out of touch at the moment having been on my own for some time since my last relationship. It is now time to change that so here goes -time to break out. I have one son who is a GMP officer who I am very proud of and who calls me a bit of a recluse - cheek. He would be shocked if he knew I was on a dating website but we mothers have to have secrets sometimes.

I have a beautiful grandaughter who lives in Australia so guess where my next holiday is going to be. I like most music especially R & B, Soul, Funky Jazz etc
