I like to sew, I enjoy quiet moments at home. Although I stated my profession as "writer", I work in health care primarily. I have 3 adult children, they are great people. I love fine dining, great wines, and warm conversation. I do NOT babysit grown men. I cannot and refuse to be expected to replace "mommy". I do not (and never been inclined to) do drugs and I have NO tolerance for them at all. I enjoy having a healthy sex life like any other person on the planet, I can't deal with the childish incessant overjealous requests. If you are desperate, it will show. I simply want to meet someone with whom I can have great conversations, great dinner moments, share goals and dreams, and hopefully build a future. If this is too much for you, keep moving.

In regard to conversation, I expect the man I meet to know where to place prepositions, conjunctions, and other attributes, including dangling participles. I love board games and quiet moments just as much as I like a good night of sports on the tube. I will get strongly involved in a home improvement project, just as easily as I can pick up a piece of fabric. I love it all. If I have to change a serpentine belt, then I will get a torque wrench and do it (I wrote torch the first time, lol). I can't stand to beg for something to be done, I have no patience for someone who does not put me before superficial BS. If you enjoy making a woman feel less than human, I am not the girl for you. If you thrive on drama, I can't deal with you. This includes children, if I feel you are not giving your child or children proper nourishment (emotional, mental, physical, spiritual), I will walk away quickly. The household always comes first. That is your foundation, your strength, your sanctuary, your revitalizing cave.

I don't ask for much, I expect to be treated as that special woman, just as you would expect to be treated as that special man. Believe me, I truly know how to make a man feel special. It's not just given away, you have to earn it.

Counting down to my smoke free (again) life. 30 days to go. Cheer me on! I'm done. Still a bit of a battle, but I did it! I love having fresh smelling hair and a fresh tasting mouth, lol.

First dates are all individualized. What I would do on a first date is totally contingent on our prior discussion of likes, dislikes, and particular interests. If all these things match, we'll do fine. There isn't just one facet of me, so there isn't one particular first date option.
