So this is where I am to talk about my hobbies, aspirations, uniqueness and goals...


My hobbies are very eclectic:
- Hooked on rafting and can't way to go back to North Carolina in September to do it again!
- I love to dance (and have even been told I'm pretty fly for a white guy)
- Does eating Sushi count as a Hobbie? Maybe more like a lifestyle =o)
- Sitting at home and watching an old cheezy movie

My uniqueness:
- I haven't met anyone that looks exactly like me (yet...although there may be a government conspiracy to clone me)
- I have an odd sense of humor (humour for those Brit's out there)
- I am very unique, just like every one else!

My tastes in music are (you guessed it) eclectic:
- Any Rock (Old and New)
- Some Southern Rock (ain't Country and to twang to be pure Rock)
- Hip-Hop
- Old Skool (and some newer) Rap
- Electronica - House, Techno, Trance (not much in to Drum-n-Bass except for maybe Uberzone or Hybrid)
- R&B
- Some Jazz
- Classical - have a higher preference for Bach over Beethoven
- Yanni (yes I like Yanni - and "Live at the Acropolis" is one of the all time BEST CD's!)
- Not a big Country fan but I do listen to some on occasion (Randy Travis' Forever and Ever Amen is one of my all time favs)

Well my goals are simple:
- To enjoy life to it's fullest
- To stay alive for as long as productively possible
- To learn something new every day
- To remember something old every day
- To be the best person I can be
- To meet the special person who completes me.

And just for the record, I'm not any kind of player and believe in a truthful and honest relationship with that special person. I want to find someone who is not just a beautiful person, but also my best friend. I can only promise that I will be the same.

What would I do on a first date?

I think this is a poorly phrased question only because I never consider the first encounter as a "date". I believe in relationships, whether it be friendship, lovers or husband and wife. You have relationships with everyone you meet (and even some you don't). You have relationships with your friends, with your parents, grandparents, children, pets, mailman, and even your car (yes, you have all talked about your car in some fashion or another).

So the first encounter for me would be one to establish a friendship and I don't really "date" my friends so I can't classify it as such. Now if things were to progress further and there was a deeper connection established eventually then the first date would be more intimate such as finding a new, secluded, lesser known restaurant to eat, or trying a new food or maybe a movie or just some coffee at a quaint little coffee house (there are some good ones in St Petersburg).
