I consider myself to be warm with a crazy goofy sense of humour (with friends!), modest - well to a degree, I take advice easily, am affectionate, and have an intellectual and philosophical brain. I would love to find someone that reciprocates these qualities. Being spontaneous, positive and easy to converse with, are also things I appreciate. I would love to meet someone who challenges me to explore uncharted territory, both in the real world and of the mind and emotions. Common interests are important - but it's more about the company I keep than the pace I go.

I'm not looking for a fitness fanatic (but that's ok too), rather someone who is interested in leading a healthy and active lifestyle, through exercise, food choices, and a positive mind. My interest in fitness is simple: I like to run, go to the gym for weights, climb a bit, road and mtn bike, hike, l love rowing, and in the winter I skate-ski, downhill ski, and back-country tour. I used to own a horse and a dog? That's hopefully going to happen again one day - although animals can pin you down a little.

Oh - I don't own a TV and have a arty/indie movie taste, can cook well, and am really concerned that we aren't doing enough for our planet. I have an appreciation for an eclectic variety of music. Play the guitar a little. Want to own a dog and a horse again one day (oops – mentioned that already). Have travelled the world a bit - and hope to do some more travelling sometime, probably sooner rather than later.

I don't bite, and believe it takes a while to get to know someone - doesn't happen in a day. Besides, we just might ski well together with other friends? Looking forward to hearing from you, and maybe skiing or sitting down over some coffee and having a good chin-wag or sharing a thermos of tea on the snow, or maybe just hitching up for a run? :)
