Are you are looking for a woman who is kind, caring, straightforward, affectionate, cuddly, honest, optimistic, reliable, loyal, intelligent, practical, analytical, easy going, self-sufficient, “baggage free”, who loves to laugh (frequently at herself!), values people and experiences over “material” things, and tries to keep fit? Then maybe you have “clicked on” somebody you might like to get to know better.

I like cooking, especially for others, (even better, cooking together, or you cooking for me!). I love to laugh - so a sense of humor is important to me. Although I don't have children, I love kids and am open to relationships with people who have them. I am an animal lover - I have a dog - and can't imagine not having one (or more) pets. I try to maintain a fairly healthy lifestyle - enjoy working out and preparing healthy, creative foods, (not to say that I don't partake of an occasional sweet or adult beverage!) Gardening is something I enjoy - in fact anything that involves being outside makes me happy, (I don’t even mind the rain…that much).

I am a nurturing person - I mentor children and work in a profession which involves helping people. I find satisfaction in making other people's lives better and doing volunteer work.

Other things I enjoy include long walks with my dog, traveling to cities with interesting history and architecture (favorite cities I have visited include Charleston, Newport R.I., and London), and am looking forward to France and Italy, reading (mysteries and biographies especially), and baseball. I like most music, especially jazz (Ella Fitzgerald is high on my list), blues, big band music, and classic "rock", watching movies from the 30's and 40's, (as well as current releases), going to plays, thoughtful discussions, and spending time with someone I care about, whether its just going for a walk, reading the paper together on a Sunday morning, sharing a meal, or talking about anything and everything.

First Meeting? Why don't we go for ice cream or a latte? First date? I guess we can figure that out at our first meeting.
