I'm an athletic, down to earth guy that likes to party but also likes to take it easy. I am always up for a new adventure and I need someone fun and out going to keep up with me. I am very close with my friends and my family so I need a girl that can get along with both. I play all kinds of sports (soccer, football, running, kickboxing, tennis, swimming) but don't really watch any. I'm always busy and work hard, so when I'm not working I want to have a good time.

A few quick things about me:
I lived in Tokyo, Japan for a summer
I am training to run the NYC marathon
I am trying to learn to surf
I've been skydiving and I loved it
I love to cook, and I love to eat
I just got back from Cali where I was the best man at my brothers wedding

For 4 years I coached a baseball team for handicapped children
I played violin for 12 years
My first job was as a newspaper delivery boy when I was 13 years old
I worked for SIRIUS Satellite Radio in NY and met some awesome celebs while I was there
My favorite job was as a swim instructor for little kids
I am working now but looking to go to grad school in a year

And my friends tell me I throw the best parties.... I had a huge Memorial Day party at my house. Tons of people, lots of fun, and jello wrestling. Some even felt the need to blog about it...

Thoughts on dating:

Women should....
be loving and caring
take care of their man
cook (or at least attempt to cook)
be independent
have their own opinion
have goals, aspirations, and dreams
not be overly jealous
not be afraid to get dirty


Men Should...
Stand up for their woman
not be abusive (mentally or physically)
be loving and affectionate
have goals and take steps towards those goals
be confident
cook
care about the way they look/present themselves

ALL PEOPLE SHOULD.....
Be honest (with each other and ourselves)
Be at least somewhat concerned about their own physical/mental health
Enjoy alone time when appropriate (being alone is not the same as being lonely)
Try to better themselves
Care about others
Be independent
Do what makes them happy
Care first and foremost about themselves
Be open minded


Want to impress me.... Cook me something great (I eat everything so make your best dish)
Want to really impress me... Bake me something great.
Want to blow me away... Teach me something new. Something that you love to do.

Depends on the girl, but either something active and engaging or dinner at a fun new restaurant and then some place we can talk and get to know each other in a relaxed setting. I would never go to the movies on a first date because you can't get to know someone if you are sitting in the dark watching a movie and not talking to the person.
