OK, here's the thing. Although I have checked long-term because that is ultimately what I want, I am in no hurry to get there so currently you could consider me a dater that eventually wants long-term. A forum post suggested the term "available for a commitment," I like it but alas, no wide appeal so far. Also, if you get an e-mail from me, I may be interested or I may just be saying hello because something caught my attention in your profile or pics. I like people and this place doesn't always have to be uber serious, ya know? Happy hunting and now let me return you to your regularly scheduled profile.
I am technically a stay-at-home mom but because I work from home I am also an entrepreneur that works full-time. The kids by the way are now 10, 14 and 17. I like to get out and do things but am equally comfortable hanging out at home (which is more than occasionally messy with three kids). I love watching movies, listening to music, traveling and occasionally just being stupid. I love to read and would be perfectly happy in a prison or mental hospital if I didn't have to make license plates or go to therapy because it would afford me the time to read undisturbed by children or work (of course assuming that I had done nothing to warrant being in prison or a mental hospital). I have a somewhat sarcastic, smart ass, dry wit sense of humor that I inherited from my father whom I dearly miss. Have no grandiose expectations of life. Want to raise happy healthy children that become productive members of society and hope that my children are as successful as they wish because my daughter has promised to build a wing for me on her house, older son is going to buy me cars, and youngest son has promised to live with me for the rest of his life (please God no!).
Looking for someone that is kind, caring, good with kids, funny and considerate. Although I don't want to be attached at the hip, I do want someone that will do things with me like ballgames and spending time with friends. Prefer someone who is middle of the road Christian and will go to church regularly or occasionally. Middle of the road to liberal politics. Can communicate and knows the difference between a disagreement and an argument. Please know what you want and although I do not plan on falling instantly in love, want someone that is open to a long term relationship. I remember who I'm with so you don't need to. Would prefer someone that is financially stable and can cope with the ups and downs of life. Please include a decent picture and spell check.

Let’s start with: all heart, compassionate, gentle, gracious, humane, loving, astute, enlightened, foresighted, informed, insightful, sensible, understanding, expressive, faithful………………and the list really does go on, and on, and on…………..
She really IS one in a million. Even when she has her own issues to deal with – (don’t we all) - she NEVER fails to extend that hand of friendship………even if the receiver (me) is over 2,200 kms away – and in a different country.
She is amazing, she a Mother, she is a Woman, ………..therefore, she is tired!!~ (Sorry Kat, had to sneak that one in………..)

 | Kathy always bails me out of jail and helps me break out of the mental ward.
Any man that gets to date Kathy is truly blessed, for he will have found an amazing listener and friend, and beautiful woman. Be warned that she might have to cut dates short to help me make bail, help me stage a looney bin breakout, or help me slash tires of all the people that cut me off on the road, or drunk-dial ex's. Thats what POF friends are for.
We started talking on a forum, and she took the time to look past my beyatchness and reach out to me, and has become an amazing online friend who i always look forward to chatting with. I have found a online kindred spirit, as we have both gone through a similar experience in life with incompetent hospitals.
I wih she lived near me so we could hang out in person.
If you are lucky enough to date this gem of a lady, or even breathe the same air as her, treat her like the queen she is. |

 | I really admire Cathy. I don't know how she does it, somehow she manages to work hard and support three wonderful children, gets them to ballgames, school activities, birthday parties, and church every Sunday all by herself.{not to mention taking care of her pets} There has to be a big red "S"
on her chest because she is SUPERWOMAN. With all she goes through she still has a smile on her face whenever I see her.
One thing about Cathy is she doesn't pull any punches, or try to sugar coat the truth. She'll tell you exactly what's on her mind. What you see is what you get,no B.S.
She has been a great nieghbor always willing to help out whenever I need anything. All three of her kids are great as well, I always enjoy having them over anytime. Cathy is a strong woman and very independant but she is a real sweety. She deserves a good man who is going to treat her with respect and knows how to make her happy.

Could there be anyone on this Earth that could be so giving and so not judging. Could there be anyone is this world who could take the time out of her life to help soothe your broken heart and spirit- There is no one in this world or anyone like her here. When I first came to POF I would see her on the forums and I would think to myself- I would love to talk to her and meet her but I am a little rough around the edges on the forums and thought maybe she would not accept me- no only did she accept me- she became my friend. |

 | My time with packagedealx3 started with pool and questions and ended with a police officer drawing his gun. She was a little standoffish at first, but I managed to bring her out shortly. The next few hours were a whirlwind of Blues music, cheap food and martinis followed by a lap dance and ending with a runaway dog (the cop thought it was going to bite him, what a wussy).
Overall, I had a good time (she told me she did too, but she could be lying) and Kathy is a good sport to have put up with everything I threw at her. |

 | Quite simply..... the consummate "cool person".....Actually that is such an understatement, so I guess that would make her ICE COLD....lol;^P.
In the short time we have corresponded, she has looked out for me in so many ways. Look up the definition of "friend" and you should see her picture. I am so grateful that in turn she also seems to think quite highly of me. Not many in this world, nowadays, are made up of the stuff that this lady has going on. She says what she means and means what she says......or at least she tries...lol.
