In an effort to be brief, here's a Top 10 list:
1) I'm about halfway done with a doctorate degree (you have to ask what it's in), and it really consumes my life, but I've wanted to do what I'm doing since I was about 12. I'd hope to find someone who understands what it means to actually be working towards your dream.
2) I love them, but I'm pretty allergic to cats.
3) I'm eccentric as all hell, and so are most of my friends. Parties with us are REALLY fun. Often, singing occurs - loudly. Sometimes in three-part harmony - loudly. :-)
4) I've been doing theatre, often musical, since I was about 13, and the people in my troupe are like my family. Cliche, but true.
5) I'm fairly introverted, but extremely social.
7) Some of the things I love: books, paintball, cooking for people, movies, music, and performing.
8) I am a huge geek, but I hide it well (for a while. See #3).
9) I come from a pretty Italian family. Translation: I talk with my hands.
10) At first, I'm told I tend to seem like a know it all, but I'm also told that once people get to know me, they understand I'm really not. C'est la vie.

The little red letters above tell me that I should talk about my music tastes. Okay, I think I shall. I love blues-based rock, the blues, crooners, musical theatre, classical, swing, grunge, and I don't know what else. Bands/acts I love: The Beatles, They Might Be Giants, Tom Waits, Beethoven, James Booker, Sam Cooke, Sammy Davis Jr., Squirrel Nut Zippers, Richard Cheese, Stone Temple Pilots, Pearl Jam, Chopin, Cibo Matto, The Presidents of the USA, Ugly Duckling, Nat King Cole, Save Ferris, and the list goes on...

EDIT: Ok. While I'm not a stringent grammar Nazi, I do find it sexy when women can convey their thoughts in a literate manner. Please DO NOT shorten your words to text speak (ex. "Wting 4 U") or baby talk. It does not make you sound coquettish and alluring. Just talk nerdy to me, baby! ;-)

Let's grab lunch or dinner at some cool, little, quiet restaurant that people don't know about, yet. Then maybe head to some equally cool little bar, or depending on the time of day, some park, or just meander around and argue the finer points of nothing really important. :-)
