I like camping and being out in the woods and enjoy watching nature and thinking about how things interrelate. I am very busy running my business, so I hardly ever get into the woods these days (I like bugs).
I teach children dance for a living and I love inventing ways to inspire them: I love children and their families. I also love to paint and dance, make films and build/create things: I do like to hit nails. I also hit drums (congas- was in a band) now and then, as well as baseballs, and am thinking of joining a softball team this summer (although I probably won't have time), and I like to hit golf balls and tennis balls although I am no expert.
For outside interests, I am inspired by the mysteries of ancient history and language. I also love science fiction (channel 45 is my favorite!): hence, it's really the new ideas in science fiction that interest me.
I have both a dance degree from SFU and my BEd from UBC.
I am not so fussy about where you live right now, because I just moved to Coquitlam and work in Vancouver.
I am not a gold digger, I would rather dig my own gold but any help in that direction I won't refuse, such as business advice. I have big plans for the future: I am ambitious.
I like horses and have mucked out stalls for a living at one time.
I have scuba dived (am NAUI certified - probably would need to be upgraded) and sky dived (once).
As far as music is concerned I like classical, swing, jazz, some world music, a little country now and then. My favorites are: Mozart, Chopin, some Quebecois 20th century composers I can never remember their names, Faure (very nice - melodist), sometimes I get up with the Hammer (MC) cranked, love Ella, Louis, Stan Getz, Oscar Peterson Trio, Clark Terry, was into the African influences such as Angelique Kidjo for awhile, not so much world music anymore, Cold Play (saw them at the Pemberton festival last year). Latest tunes I am listening to is Verdi, and Vivaldi bassoon concertos - humourous.
I also like to go out on the town and enjoy gourmet cooking done by someone else.
