As a first generation immigrant, I have worked hard in these United States to "make it." The road has been 'interesting, colorful and challenging' to say the least, but in this process, I have grown and learned a lot about not compromising my principles and values, no matter what. Today after more than two decades, I can finally enjoy my success and achievements. I am goal oriented and like to re-assess myself ever so often. I am a driven individual and yet easy to please and accepting of people for who they are. I have a wonderful family, very loved and that in itself is a blessing.

I am an advocate for education and prefer to meet people who have taken the time to pursue a college degree. I believe education is the key to success, processing information rationally and just having an open mind! I am picky.I do have lot of respect for those that work hard, but given my background, academics is almost a must. I work with children and families however, young children and ex's are scary to me!

I keep my home clean, am a good cook and can take care of myself. I enjoy intelligent conversation and would like to meet someone with whom I have common interests and we can go from there. I truly believe a relationship is a work in progress and both parties have to make the time and effort. I have worked on my issues and resolved many, and will continue to work on others as that in itself is a wonderful process.

I enjoy music (anything goes), day trips to the beach especially Cambria. Been to many places in life and now want to travel with someone. How nice it would be to want to wake up next to someone every morning and as sunset approaches, we can feel blessed for having lived a life together with love, respect and family...

I would prefer to meet someone at a local coffee shop....This is a first meeting not a first date.
