I never really liked filling these things out. I would much rather let my actions and behavior speak for themselves but that’s difficult through a computer screen. I’m a bit of a homebody and would rather spend time with friends and family watching movies or playing games over bar hopping or clubbing. In fact there are few things more important to me then the people I care about. I can still be convinced to go out and enjoy things like conventions, fairs, and shows with the right group of people.

I really enjoy working out. Yoga has become my favorite form of exercise alongside aerobics and calisthenics. I used to love weight lifting and I’m slowly starting to make time for it again. The martial arts have always been an interest of mine but I have little formal training. I’m also a licensed amateur boxer, although I don’t compete, and a trained pro wrestler by way of the LIWF Doghouse. I used to take lessons in ballroom dancing and would love to return to it. And I’ve recently added fencing and archery to my interests.

When I’m not breaking a sweat I like to spend my downtime working on whatever projects my friends and I are involved in. This could range from developing our website, creating board games, writing scripts or stories, or designing costumes. And while I don’t think I do a lot of reading I’ve usually got some sort of book close at hand; whether they be history, politics, fantasy, educational, or the classics. As of the last few years I’ve worked as a clerk at a mortgage bank (sorry, no idea what the rates are right now) and while I enjoy the job I’m working towards affording a loan to open my own business.

I’m a religious and spiritual person but I don’t attend church nearly as much as I would like. My faith is important to me and I regularly delve deeper into it to learn more. I’m also interested in learning more about the different faiths and religions, so I’m usually willing to seriously discuss religion and faith with others. And I love animals. I’ve cared for a plethora of different critters over the years and currently have two little pugs and a puggle. Whether it was my Basset Hound, Husky mix, or Pug monsters I’ve always had a dog in my life; I would very much like that to continue until my last day.

I’m looking to find someone with similar interests we could share, but more than anything I want to find someone to love, respect, and just enjoy being around. Someone that can accept me for who I am and that I can accept for who they are, without trying to manipulate or force each other into being something we’re not. A person that’s self-sufficient, mature, and caring that we can build a relationship with that helps us both become better people because of. Also loving dogs is pretty much a mandate.

I’m a simple guy of simple tastes so a nice diner or something similar would be right up my alley. I also love Sushi, so checking out a Sushi bar would easy to convince me to do. I don’t like coffee but that wouldn’t stop me from visiting a café to meet up with someone. Even just a nice walk around a park would be good, just be warned that I might get distracted by the animals.
