The I believe section!

I believe that laughter is the essense of the soul!

UPDATE: If I have viewed your profile and not written it would be because there is at least SOME thought that we might not be compatible. That having been said..it would seem I am wrong more often than I am right, a lesson learned during the course of my marriage..lol Such being the case...if you read my profile...and are interested I welcome the opportunity to get to know more about you! I believe that it is an exercise in futility to try to keep up with the Jones' , especially when it is so much easier to simply reach up, grab them , and drag them down to your level!

Finally I believe that God invented whisky to prevent the Irish from ruling the world! LOL

I am gregarious and irreverent! I have a strong personality and prefer to be surrounded by those who are either not offended by strong personalities or better yet who have strong personalities as well!

I enjoy golf ,libations, hard work , good times and better friends! Oh...and bad and at times tasteless jokes and those who appreciate the same!

I believe that Popeye said it best when he said..I yams what I yams! I believe that I owe it to myself first and foremost to be honest and to others secondly , in part because I'll hold myself to a higher standard than will most! I am energetic and positive believing that the glass is 3/4 full , all the better of course if the glass is filled with wine! LOL

A few additional thoughts.....

Society is as it should be, measured by how it treats it's young as well as it's old!!!

Giving is it's own reward!

And finally....recently re-discovered Cat Stevens " Hard Headed Woman" and it speaks volumes to me..have you listened to it lately?

UPDATE: The personality test attached to my profile indicates that I am low of family orientation. That simply is not true! I enjoy spending time with my partner and absolutely LOVE children...especially if they are well seasoned and grilled medium rare! LOL Could I figure out how to remove said personality test from my profile I'd do so because....friends and family are VERY important to me!

What would I do for a first date? Easy schmeazy! Whatever the two of us decided...but certainly something casual.libations and a game of pool in a local dive.....

I am as comfortable in a suit and tie as in the work boots and jeans which make up my daily attire.
