First off, I appreciate it when you put something interesting here. Here's mine.

In the past year I've:
Taught sailing
Ridden an elephant
Relearned a sitting trot/lope
Slept under the stars
Acquired skis, boots, bindings and poles
Done a pub crawl
Gone to Las Vegas
Built and maintained a garden on my balcony
Cured a kid's homesickness
Attempted rock climbing

I hope that the next year will hold adventures and more outdoorsiness as I am able to get out more. I'm not so much into icy things or steep things, but am dying to try skiing again if my knee will hold up to it. Perhaps snowshoeing? Rock climbing? Riding? Kite boarding? Sailing? Whitewater kayaking? I find flatwater kayaking rather boring unless it's a way to get from point A to point B, then I'm game. I'm interested in geocaching, too.

In the city I'm interested in museums, lectures, movies, bowling (yeah, I'm geeky like that), good beer and live music that is mixed and amplified in a way appropriate for the small venue, not say... the Rose Bowl.

Who am I looking for? Someone who can appreciate who I am and where I've been and have adventures with me. First and foremost I want friendship to be the basis of any relationship that has any hope of being lifelong. I've learned a lot in the past year and a half about myself and others. As a result, I have a good idea of what will and won't work in the long term and enough common sense to spot and deal with issues early. I don't delay the inevitable when the future is clear.

In the interest of full disclosure, I've included a photo that shows my smile. I'm doing something about it, but if that turns you off, be forewarned. I am nothing if not up-front about it, nor am I offended if it turns you off. It bugs me too! I also hope it doesn't stop you from messaging me if you think we'd hit it off.

You bring the detonator, I'll bring the duct tape. I love spontaneous adventures but don't mind things that require a bit more planning or lead time. Communication is best, but a chance to play and let down our hair is pretty important as well. Almost any sporting event sounds like it would work.
