About Me
Call me Jawn.
I'm new to this state, and I'd like to get to know some people here that have aged fewer than 4 decades.
My job right now is pretty koosh: I work remotely from a laptop to build websites for IBM, and I run a small web-advertising company on the side.
...I also street perform for nickels.
Sometimes, when I get bored, I pack up my Jeep and summon my co-pilot (a 4-year-old Border Collie, named "Ernie"), and vacate the state. I keep a collection of small spades in my backseat for impromptu dinosaur fossil excavations.
I love people, I talk to strangers, and I'm ridiculously outgoing. I like to tell jokes. I enjoy an occasional moment of seriousness. I like to pretend that I'm a velociraptor when I'm around small children.
...it's sexy that I can spell "velociraptor" correctly, right?
*sigh* okay, lemme get serious here for a second:
The important things in life: being happy, having fun, people, moving forward with whatever reason you felt you were put upon this planet. I feel I was put upon this planet to feel good and have a positive impact on those around me.
I prefer to engage myself in one of these spectacular activities: intriguing conversation, reading, joking around, horsing around, walrusing around, writing, skiing, dancing, drawing, singing, claymation, hiking, biking, poultry voyeurism (bird watching), running--exploration.
I make websites for a living. Right now, I work for this corporation called "International Business Machines" (IBM). When I've got nothing else to do, I make video games. Here's a website I made (Ernie is that fluffy beast in the top-left corner): www.dogsolitaire.com
My goal is to accrue enough wealth so that I never have to work again; but just travel the world, absorbing culture, and visiting friends. My belief is that I will be able to accomplish this dream by inventing the world's first cotton-candy flavored hot dog. I already have a working prototype...but the concept starts to break down as the dog melts with the addition of its caramel-flavored ketchup.
I get along with virtually everyone. If you're a kind person who likes to have fun, be goofy, partake in enthralling conversations, or talk about desert fishing (kind of like ice fishing, but with sand), then I suggest you shoot me a witty remark through this here Webbernet Site.
First Date
I'd set up some elaborate activity so we could spend some time together while enjoying one of our mutual interests.
Too abstract? Well, I've compiled a list of possibilities, depending upon what it is you like to do:
Conversation - we'd find some pleasant nook in a mountainside where we could share intellectual (and potentially whacky) thoughts in a local coffee shop--by the warmth of some picturesque fire.
Food Consumption - after discovering your favorite food groups through innocuous questioning, we'd enjoy a fine candlelit dinner in one of Denver's many food-serving establishments--by the warmth of some picturesque fire.
Night Lifeing - we'd go out and have a drink or two in some local water hole that promises a wild ambiance, but with volume levels low enough to engage in rigorous, self-sustaining conversation--by the warmth of some picturesque fire
Dancing - whether you enjoy learning new dances, going out to bars, clubbing, or just the tender moment that two people share while slowly slaloming back and forth to the rhythm of some ancient tune, I'd make sure you had a good time while we went out and painted the town red--as red as some wild, picturesque fire.
Battagline has 2 roses that can be sent.
