My apologies to anyone who has read this over the last few months and scratched their head...I currently live in Kirkland but am moving back to Yakima or the Tri-Cities this month...haven't decided exactly...lived in Yakima from April 2003-January 2009. My change in job (same company)is bringing me back, and I am grateful.

My glass is half full...I am fortunate to have 3 semi-adult children who loving, industrious, imaginative and creative!! I am very close with my parents and sisters (I have 4 younger sibs); I have scads of friends who are engaging, supportive and fun! I have a challenging and fulfilling career, working for the same employer for 23 years - rare today.

For fun, I am a part-time DJ, doing weddings and parties very selectively. I love music, and my musical taste is a broad spectrum; however, I am selective, and somewhat old-school when going to concerts. This year, I am seeing Fleetwood Mac, No Doubt, James Taylor and Billy Joel/Elton John. My favorite holiday is Bumbershoot (hahaha - it's actually Thanksgiving - four days of extended family fun).

The gym is my second home. I love the endorphin rush of a good workout.

I am blessed with an amazing support system.

I love to travel...I am planning a trip to Europe next year to Italy, Greece, Spain, France, Austria and Germany. Three weeks traveling by train and backpack is a tremendous adventure.

My favorite US destinations are NYC, Las Vegas, San Francisco and the SoCal beaches.

I enjoyed living in Kirkland as mountains and water are at my fingertips...will be that much more special when I return to visit.

I lived overseas for two years at a young age; living within the local communities made an amazing impact on who I am...humble, tolerant, understanding, forgiving and appreciative; it also made me independant and adventurous. Being a stranger in a strange land can be life-altering if the experience is fully realized.

Love the Mariners and Safeco Field...try to get to as many games as possible during the year...
