I love life and aspire to cultivate some kind of gratitude every day. I also try to meet each person from the perspective of our common humanity! Do I reach that every day? No. Do I scold myself for being imperfect? Sometimes, but a lot less than I used to, for which I am grateful. (self compassion is the hardest, yes?!)

I really believe in power - the power of connection, the power of dreams, the power of kindness, the power of compassion, the power of laughter, the power of listening, the power of being heard, the power of vulnerability, the power of honesty, the power of paradox, the power of death and the power of Love - all these in their broadest most inclusive definitions.

I love: laughing until I cry; new experiences in old places; new experiences in new places; listening to people's stories; music that makes me dance, sing, cry, ponder; I love birds and hawks; dogs; writing, reading and listening to poetry; discovering my limits; challenging my perceptions; learning (again and again). And anything near the ocean always, always rejuvenates me.

Meet someplace for a walk or a hike (perhaps at the beach), or tea or picnic. We'll decide.
