I want first and foremost, to find my BESTEST FRIEND on the planet. My BESTEST, that we would always have each others back, right...wrong....good...bad. As long as it is the truth...FRIENDS... a solid foundation. Not looking for "a man", but "THE MAN" who makes my pulse quicken at the sound of his voice or when he walks in the room.
I am a simple person, who really enjoys life's simple pleasures and joys. Nothing fancy, basically a jeans and t-shirt kind of a gal. But I "clean up" pretty good, so I've been told. (LBD and heels are still in the closet) And can be PC...when required.
I am very close to my children and grandchildren. BUT...not in I "wanna raise some more" closeness. Am enjoying being a cool Nana, then send them home!
I LOVE to cook. Nothing gives me more pleasure (well, ALMOST) than to see a table full of folks digging into one of my dinners. Enjoy eating out at small, out of the way places. Prefer "The Road Less Traveled."
I am a very mellow, but playful person. Don't take life or myself very serious (unless it IS serious). I am an active and rather high energy person...prefer DOING to WATCHING, within reason :~) , but quiet times nestled in the arms of MY man... watching a movie, feeding each other ice cream or soft pillow talk... is a splendid end to a busy day.
I neither need, nor want, to be rescued or taken care of. Am enjoying life in the woods, my new found independence...emotionally and financially. But, would like to meet an open, honest man to share the good things in life with.
Passion and enthusiasm is woven into every facet of my being. My family, music, animals, this planet. The BEST things in life, aren't THINGS!
If you have a good sense of humor, enjoy life, laughter and like animals (2 dogs, 2 cats and a hamster)...and if you can be around folks eating raw oysters-without gagging... drop me a line. And even if we aren't a "Match"... Guy Pals are great too!
And yes, I... unlike some of you, I will respond to your messages. It is almost laughable at the number of "Gentlemen" that choose not to acknowledge a hand offered in friendship.

If you can't understand this, then unfortunately you would probably never understand me. But, who knows, you could possibly become an enlightened soul.

GENTLEMEN- In your quest for HER, regardless of who SHE may be; remember the words of Mark Twain,"Let us not be too particular. It is better to have old second-hand diamonds than none at all."
NOTE TO SELF....PROOF READ, PROOF READ, BEFORE HITTING SEND!!!!

I don't really have an answer for this. I'm rather spontaneous, don't know that the first meeting should really be a date...not given to preconceived notions regarding..."Do this" or "Don't do that". Does anybody remember "Dutch Treat"?
