My hobbies include quilting, sewing, gardening, stamp collecting and needle point.
I attend church weekly and sing in the choir. I enjoy acting like a tourist when traveling and really like museums. I do enjoy playing the piano for relaxaton. My music likes range to almost everything except some country, rapp and whatever that is that can not be heard cleary or does not make sense.

A fun outing would be like going to Festival Park for the free movies and music. Every fourth Friday, going downtown Fayetteville to watch all the fun activity and visiting the Chocolate Lady on Hay Street for ice cream.

Another day we could simply be together and do nothing really important except be together.

I joined a book discussion group at the library shortly after arriving in Fayetteville. Love to read and movies. I enjoy movies pre-1960. Yes, this does include the silent era and forward.

I took ballroom dancing classes for a few months last year. Would like to continue for fun. Would also like to take square dance lessons and learn to bowl correctly.
I like keeping the sides up. My score is higher and no gutter balls.

Did I remember to mention that I am owned by a wonderful cat. He does allow my one adult son to visit.

I transplanted from Texas to North Carolina January 2009 and would like to make new friends and one day have a long term relationship. God has promised a mate for everyone. I am waiting for Mr. Right.

I am unique by simply being me. I would like to have grandchildren.

My idea of a first date would be to meet at a restaurant for quite conversation. We would both be comfortable in a public place. We need to see each other, laugh and talk.

If it is still light after dinner, we could go to a city park and swing on the swings.
We do not have to walk if you do not want to.

All of this should be enough time to determine if we want a second date.
