I'm a people person, I like company and conversation and I love to get to know people and spend time socialising. At home, in the pub, over dinner, at friends homes, wherever. Good conversation makes me happy, but then so does quiet companionship.
I'm easily tickled by board games such as Articulate which creates some great laughs, especially when further fuelled with a bottle of wine and good company.

I love to read, as you might have gathered from the Wuthering Heights references. Books are like air, I neeeed them. I'm usually found with some sort of vampire fiction on the go, normally with a second book for less indulgent stimulus, I'm devouring books on communication at the moment.
I also love films and going to the cinema, then there's the theatre which is another major passion in my life.
Bones, The Mentalist, Dexter, Lost, Lie To Me, Warehouse 13 and a few others grab me on tv but I generally prefer film.

I worked as a DJ in the dim and distant past and technically before I was legally able so I'm reasonably easy to please in terms of music unless it it has a beat faster than a sprinters heartbeat or someone growling incoherently down a mike. Heather Nova is blissful listening but my collection is vast and eclectic.

I love Egypt and the history fascinates me but I'm keen to travel to new places and discover new passions. I've been out there twice and I hope to go back someday. The temples and the ancient monuments are just amazing but the multisensory experience of Egypt as a whole is seductive.
I think Italy might be the next planned international destination for me, I like the sound of the historical sites and the art and culture. However, I also really like exploring our Jurassic coast, partly visiting places of interest but also fossil hunting on the beach, not that I've succeeded yet but I still like looking. Cornwall is another favourite. I like body boarding and exploring sites around the county.

I'm an education addict, I've studied several subjects to HND level and I'd love to make them all into degrees one day. Some courses, like aromatherapy, I've studied just for fun and personal interest. Others for work and fascination.

I work in various different fields, all joining up to make an interesting life and equate to full time work. I like it that way too. No two days are ever the same. I'm at management level in all jobs and I work with people in all of them, providing opportunity, developing skills, enabling lots of things. It's great!

I used to run a theatre company (temporarily on hold) and we would travel English Heritage sites performing classic children's English literature, camping overnight in the ruins. Something about those experiences strike me as divine and I'd love to share them in the future.

The friend I've just consulted for an outside opinion says I'm: " vivacious, witty, intelligent, opinionated, kind and generous, a bit quirky and crazy ".
Which is really nice and I didn't even have to give her a tenner!

I have preschool twins who live with me and whom I love dearly, both cut from the same cloth as me which makes them lively personalities!

I'd like to meet my Heathcliffe, my Romeo, my Harlequin, my hero, or some similar lovely chap and eventually create a happy ending, unlike the books.

Of course if you have access to a jet then Paris is fine, but a cuppa and a loaf of bread to throw for the ducks at the local park will do just fine.
