Happy and healthy 64 year-old (recently retired) Attorney, ISO partner, lover and soulmate for a permanent monogamous relationship. I'm intelligent, vigorous, and financially secure. Have lived in Europe and Asia, as well as in Boston, San Diego, and North Carolina.
Worked my way through law school as a "bahtendah" in Boston, served as a U.S. Marine Corps JAG Officer (including some service in Vietnam) also as a Nazi prosecutor for the U.S. Department of Justice. Took early retirement from the Central Intelligence Agency in 1998, then served until 2005 as the Ethics Officer at the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
Although I have participated in many marathons and am currently in training for a Triathlon (swim, cycle, run) it is not important to me that a woman be physically active (at least not outdoors!). All my life I've been told I have an abundance of "Irish wit" and a twinkle in my very blue eyes.

I have two grown children who are the light of my life - Kathleen, who is an '05 grad of Cornell Law School and now a lawyer on Wall Street; and Michael, who was recently discharged from the USMC (not bad for a former Marine lawyer!). I currently spend much of my free time volunteering at Capital Hospice in Northern Virginia.

As mentioned above, I am looking for a permanent monogamous relationship. Integrity, passion and humor are important to me. Neither education nor wealth matter very much to me. I don't have a pretentious bone in my body, and prefer a partner who is the same. I am a good parent and would expect my partner to be one also.
Aside from the above, whatever works for two people - works!
