Hello there. New York is such a great city, and it's blissfully wonderful when you are enjoying it with someone you care about.

I'd love to meet someone who is thoughtful, family oriented, adventurous, funny, doesn't take himself too seriously, and intelligent. A man who enjoys a lazy afternoon reading the papers but at other times is up for taking a long bike ride or hike, going to a ball game or a spontaneous trip to a warm climate.

Here is where I talk myself up... easy going, caring, open-minded yet opinionated and adventurous. My seven year old niece dubbed me her favorite aunt (but I'm not allowed to tell anyone so keep it quiet) because I'm just another big kid and will roll down hills with her.

In my free time I most enjoy skiing, regular runs over the Brooklyn Bridge, wandering through modern art galleries, the beach, exploring new places, watching a game with friends or staying home with a good read and a cup of coffee or glass of wine.

First dates, in my opinion, should be casual and low key. Depending on how well I know the person, either drinks and or dinner is ideal, giving us the chance to get to know one another and see if there is common ground and potential for a spark, flame or raging inferno!
