I've been in Jacksonville for about 6 years now. Finally settling down, own a house, work as a financial advisor, pretty good circle of friends, and know a few good places to hang out around town.

I greatly enjoy getting out of town as well. I really want to do more road trips. Just packing up for a weekend, driving somewhere,and enjoying some place new is a hell of a weekend for me.

It suggests I tell you why I'm unique (here's a few reasons):

I'm a geek, I play video games, I enjoy using computers, I can build them and fix them. WoW, CoD, Madden, Resident Evil (just some of the games I enjoy).

I'm a Bears fan living in a town of big cat lovers

I actually know how to cook (not just on the grill, but I'm good with that too - my favorite dish, which which is very indulgent is Fettuccini Alfredo with homemade sauce)

I've lived in 9 states and 2 countries before I moved to Florida for the second time

And I use my turn signal whenever I change lanes.

I'm very into tattoo's, i have 5 at this point 4 in the last few months. If that bothers you or you think that it's not acceptable I understand. Just know that I'm into them and most of my friends are heavily inked.

I'm a big comedian, I love telling jokes, making jokes about things, and just laughing in general. The more fun I'm having and the harder I'm laughing the better time I must be having.

I think John Candy put my military career best - I thought to myself, Join the army. It's free. So I figured while I'm here I'll lose a few pounds.

I've got a very eclectic taste in music. It ranges from Eminem and Kanye West to Great Big Sea and Dropkick Murphy's. And a lot of stuff that doesn't fit into that range.

I'm really looking for a long term relationship, but I'm being realistic about it. I know that it has to start with some sort of attraction and some common interest or just the enjoyment of each others company. I'd really like to find someone who wants to get out and do things. A sedentary life is a wasted life. I spend enough of it sitting at a desk at work. That's not what I want to do with my free time.

The talking is the thing that makes the date memorable, as least the first few dates. I'd like to go to a restaurant and have a nice dinner, maybe grab a couple of drinks, or just hang out. It's the people on the date that make the date, not the place.
