I like to swim, work out, swing dance, meditate, massage, hike, play guitar and bass, bike ride, PBS and other science and documentary TV. Fav music: Beatles and 60’s pop and alternative, fu fighters, garbage, fab faux (live), swing, classical, opera, folk. Other interests include group work, psychology, history, philosophy, power exchange, Carl Sagan, dogs, cats, children, mountains, beaches, people, eating healthy, great coffee and chocolate.

We’d meet at the Botanical Gardens in the late afternoon. After going once around if we didn’t want to say goodbye, we’d go to get a drink. After our drink it would be time to eat. Would we eat? If we weren’t too shy and were willing to take a risk we would.

After dinner I’d invite you to join me for a walk on the beach. I’d tell you I was parked around the corner and promise to drop you off at your home with just a little sand between your toes. You’d want to say “yes,” but feeling skittish about our now marathon first night, and perhaps not sure about getting in my car despite feeling totally comfortable, you charmingly ask for a rain check. I agree. We kiss on the check, lightly embrace, and part.

Minutes later I text you from my car, that I happy we met. You text back and I smile and put on a romantic CD that I imagine sharing with you. I find a parking spot right away, and it immediately strikes me that, not only will I not forget you and this magical evening anytime soon; it’s highly likely I’ll remember where I parked as well.
