Welcome to today's collection of witty little snippets about me:

An original NYC girl, I landed on the Peninsula for work by way of Santa Monica. I am missing the city vibe and I'd like to start spending more time bumbling around exploring.

I definitely like to dress up to go out for an amazing meal or a show and am excited to engage with the city on so many levels.

I love music and am always up for finding who's playing. I just hit 10,000 songs on my itunes which felt like some sort of mile-stone! I listen to all kinds, but my roots are in rock and alternative.

In between weekend ski trips, or quickies to LA or NY, I like to be home to spar over headlines, cook great Italian and cozy up with a glass of wine and a good book.

I value honesty and respect above all. Showing kindness and compassion should be a regular occurrence and not just saved for the one you're trying to impress.

I am super close with my family and have amazing people who are my lifeblood. My brother is my best friend and I love being the cool auntie for his kids.

I've been lucky to have lived like a local in some amazing places I continue to tick off my go-to list at a good clip. Up next is Greece and Turkey....maybe.

Without being obsessive about it, I stay healthy and take good care of myself. As a reward for still fitting into my size 4 jeans, I do reserve the right to indulge in a cheeseburger occasionally.

I have no preconceived notions of what someone should be, nor any bar to which I measure against. I look forward to finding someone unexpected - experience tells me that's what I can count on getting. It doesn't matter what you do as long as your head's in the right place and you can keep up with me :)

here I must tell you... I'm actually 42 - I wanted to see if the search results were different - they are. I left it too long and cant change it. Not happy about that. Being truthful is so important to me.

really? .. ok..Coffee is always benign. A happy hour drink is good sometimes, especially after a long day at work. A first date would really come out of that meeting.. then, go see some music maybe.. surprise me.
