I am a chameleon-like person. I go well from the board room to the ball park, from watching a play on broadway to drawing with chalk on the driveway. Get my wheels rolling in a roller-skating rink or get them turning talking about hypotheticals and theoreticals... I'm open to most things as long as I'm with someone whose company I enjoy.

I have eclectic tasts in music and food too. I love neo-soul, dancehall and reggae, any R&B ballad - especially the old skool ones, jazz, hip-hop, even easy listening. I love food from mostly any caribbean island as well as the traditional favs most folks have.

I'm a BBW who has come to appreciate my curves. I'm healthy in spite of my weight and therefore I'm not going to wallow around in self-loathing. If a fit, toned gym-rat, jogger type woman is what you seek, I'm not for you. But I am an active BBW who isn't afraid to get out there and be me.

I've done the online dating thing once or twice before. Have had moderate success in that I've met some pretty decent guys. BUT I haven't met THE guy... which is what I seek. I would like to find my king. My king will be a masculine man, not laced with testosterone, but with a character of a real MAN... someone whom I can adore and will adore being cherished by. Someone whom I can respect and my son (eventually) will look up to and learn from. I seek a man who is ready to take his place in my life... walking side-by-side (him maybe half a step ahead of me) facing all life has to offer, together.

One last thing... my chemistry says I'm not family oriented. Not true! I have a son and love him dearly. I'm not the world's best quick cook, which is tough as a single, full-time working mom. So NO I don't "like" to cook. I also put I don't want more children because I can't have any more... doesn't mean I'm not family-oriented. (whew! glad that's off my chest!)

My first date ideally would consist of something where conversation is not hindered yet where we don't have to hang on each other's words either... zoos, aquariums, dinner, a lunch outing in a park, a friendly game of pool (watch out, I just might win!), or a trip to play-date Atlanta are all great ideas to me.
