Life is not meant to be lived to go to your grave quietly in a well preserved body but rather life is meant to be lived to go to your grave sliding sideways, tires squealing, a bar of chocolate in one hand and a drink in the other, saying d*mn what a ride!!

I've lived in the Pacific Northwest all my life and it's a really good fit for me since I love both the water and the mountains. There's always something to do here and the seasonal changes keep it interesting. I like weekend trips and playing tourist. There are so many places I haven't been and so many things left to try. I love sports especially football. I spend a certain amount of time on the golf course but hate to practice. Other than sports, I like to take in a comedy show or a concert - mostly country or rock but I'm open to just about anything. I like to be outdoors whenever possible and I'm not afraid to get wet when necessary.

I'm a low maintenance kind of woman so I'm fairly easy to please and I don't get bent out of shape over the small things. I'm generally laid back but when excited or passionate about something, it's best to just sit back and enjoy the ride with me.

I really enjoy trying new things so if you have a hobby you want to share, chances are I'll give it a try.

My friends describe me as extremely funny, intelligent, honest, loyal, caring and a really good friend. I hate games and wish people would just say what they mean. You'd be surprised how well that can work. I'm looking for someone who enjoys going out, who will try new things, but who can also spend a night in and just enjoy the evening. I don't believe being in a relationship means being attached at the hip but it does require trust and honesty and a certain amount of shared interests and intimacy. I know we all carry baggage from our past but please limit yours to carry on and I will do the same.

A great first date would be to take in a sporting event. It gives you time to talk, see if there's any chemistry and get to know someone just enough to know whether you want to call it an evening afterward or go get a drink or coffee to prolong the date.
