I write christian contemporary music, play a little guitar, and sing and record with my brother. I love camping, kayaking, sailing, hiking, flat road biking on my mountain bike :), walks around the lake or through the woods, bible study groups, traveling to new places, concerts, singing along to rock 'n roll (can't just listen), hanging out on the front porch, moments with family and special friends, dancing in the kitchen, garage sales, auctions, antiques, remodeling, and quiet moments with the Lord. I used to crew for a hot air balloon, and would like to get back into that. I don't hang out at bars, but I do like to shoot pool though and I play best ball for golf. I am thankful for this simple life that God has given me.

I have 2 sons and a 9-year-old granddaughter. I grew up in MO, finished education degrees here, and then moved to TX for a master's in therapy. I recently moved back to MO after living in GA, WY, NM, CA, IA, and UT. I am involved with a baptist church here for bible study, running soundboard, and prayer. I am doing prison ministry through a nondenominational group and help with Walk to Emmaus. I also like to work with the homeless. I missed a chance to do a mission trip in Mozambique this summer with orphanages, but am saving to go there this summer.

I am waiting for a rest-of-this-life best friend, a nice guy who knows God's voice, that special someone who will help me see the things that I miss and knows that we are all a work in progress, someone who is honest and faithful. Life is messy and Satan works hard to deceive each of us. And yes, I do want to cuddle, kiss, hold hands... but just with God's one option, so I try not to think about it right now. :) I am quiet with strangers, but a total goofball with friends. I have been divorced more than once. I feel stupid for being deceived as they were adulterous, but I am thankful that God has brought wholeness and hope. I know that His love endures.
