I am a student looking to meet people outside of school and outside my current circle of friends. I enjoy travel and can't wait till I can do some more. Hanging out at a bar/lounge, watching a movie, going for a walk in the sun (or at night!) or even sitting at home just chatting are all things I enjoy. I'm a Canadian (and proud of it :) ) who moved to the Bay Area only last year to study. Although I miss the people (friends and family!) back home, people here are great, to say nothing about the weather :P

A little more about myself: I hope to become a scientist and am studying toward that goal. Whenever I can I go and do some traveling. I like all kinds of music and movies (except horror flicks!) and enjoy both of these as much as I can. I also enjoy reading, some of my favorite books include "The Lord of the Rings" by JRR Tolkien, "The Da Vinci Code" by Dan Brown, "Life of Pi" by Yann Martel, and "Huis clos" by Jean-Paul Sartre. Also spy novels in general.

Movie-wise I have to say "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy is epic, although I tend to like almost any kind of movie (with the exception of horror movies...). Another movie that comes to mind is "Les Invasions Barbares" (The Barbarian Invasions), an amazing French Canadian movie. I do tend to like most kinds of movies with the notable exception of horror flicks which I find are just a lot of gore and even more absurdity.

As I said, I am into all sorts of music, although right now I tend to like euro-dance music more than others. Five recently played songs on my playlist would be: "Boom Boom Pow" by Black Eyed Peas, "Aqui estoy yo" by Luis Fonsi, "Ça m'énerve" by Helmut Fritz, "Dare to Live" by Andrea Bocelli and "Now you're gone" by Basshunter. Briefly, a wide array of genres. Right now I tend to be more into eurodance type music though I listen to almost every genre out there.

Someone with whom I can talk openly and honestly, get together and just have fun is what I'd be looking for here... Especially someone who enjoys travel and is not afraid of learning and trying out new things!

A nice dinner followed by a walk in the city. Or coffee and ice cream and a walk along the beach. Really anything that allows for conversation!
