I moved to Colorado from the southwest 9 years ago. I enjoy socializing with friends and family, but I enjoy quiet nights at home as well. I can be stubborn but I am fair, talkative but pensive and fearful but courageous.
I have many interests, including, gardening, making jewelry, working on the home I live in, cooking/grilling. I like to get outdoors (but don't do it nearly enough) drives to the mountains, camping, art craft shows but also staying indoors with a good book or movie. Nature hikes, not because I have a destination but because I like looking at rocks, wild flowers, bugs, birds and most any other creature that may be out and about.
Most kinds of music appeal to me, including, most alternative, classic rock, classical, bluegrass, blues, big band....I can do without heavy metal and rap.
I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. I have a 13 year old who spends half time with me and a grown daughter who recently made me a grandma.
I am looking to meet someone who has an interest in one or more of the same, can work through fears, and acknowledge when a connection is made...or not. Intellectually stimulating conversations, wit...,are a plus, loyalty and honesty...,are a must. Someone who can converse about nothing, everything and all that is in between...and have an open mind.
